Term: 1 year
The incumbent has two primary sets of responsibility: (1) overseeing and providing support for the safe dayto-day operation and longer-term planning of upkeep/improve of product development laboratories and instrumentations, (2) managing relationship with lab users to assist with onboarding of a new team or users by providing safety training and handling instrumentations, as well as to assess users’ operational needs and troubleshoot technical issues. The incumbent provides support on implementation of safety/biosafety plans, management of external partners, collaboration on management of other Velocity Incubator spaces and assets (e.g. Hardware lab, and workshop), expense planning, inventory management, supporting strategic planning activities for Manager and Velocity leadership. The Velocity Lab coordinator is accountable to the lab manager for safety, technical and administrative issues.
This role is contingent on funding.
